High-performance e-commerce for Brazil's largest PC hardware retailer
The Challenge
Pichau operates Brazil's largest PC hardware catalog with over 50,000 SKUs and traffic spikes during major events like Black Friday. Their legacy system couldn't handle thousands of simultaneous users, leading to slow load times and lost conversions. Product search was also slow and poorly relevant, hurting product discovery.
The Solution
We built a headless storefront with Next.js connected to Magento 2 via API, decoupling the frontend from the commerce backend and enabling independent performance and UX releases. The headless architecture drastically reduced load times and unlocked advanced customizations without touching the Magento core.
