Headless e-commerce for a Canadian smoke shop retailer
The Challenge
180Smoke needed a modern, fast storefront connected to their existing Magento 2 catalog while keeping all business logic, promotions, and inventory management in the backend without risky migrations. The previous site's mobile experience hurt conversions and performance was underwhelming for the Canadian market.
The Solution
We built a headless storefront with Next.js integrated to Magento 2 via API, fully decoupling the frontend from the commerce backend. The headless architecture delivered superior performance, an optimized mobile experience, and complete frontend customization freedom without impacting Magento.
